Komos Reposado Rosa undergoes a two-month aging process in French oak barrels that previously held red wine, giving it a distinctive reposado character.
Komos' artisanal method is adhered to in the production of this tequila in Mexico, using 100% Blue Weber agaves, carefully selected from the various terroirs of the Tequila Valley in Jalisco. The piñas are hand-harvested, then roasted in traditional stone ovens. The aguamiel is naturally fermented and double-distilled in copper stills. After that, the liquid is aged in the finest barrels, where it acquires its natural pink hue from red grape skins. A final touch of gentle aeration, a winemaking technique, is applied to make the texture softer and smoother while adding richness and roundness to the flavor profile.
The ceramic bottle, handcrafted by artisans, is designed to be recycled, each one unique with its own reactive glaze. Its pink color evokes the splendor of the Mediterranean, while preserving the exquisite aromas and flavors it contains.
