Plus d’Infos

An unparalleled style throughout Bordeaux! The Emilien cuvée is distinguished by its silky texture, offering aromas of perfectly ripe red fruits and delicately velvety tannins. A true marvel of softness and elegance.

Terroir: The vines are a blend of 85% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1% Carménère, reflecting the entire range of Château Le Puy’s parcels.

Vinification and aging: Natural fermentation by infusion with indigenous yeasts, without filtration or fining. The wine is then aged for 12 months in foudres, followed by 12 months in old barrels.

Food pairing: Ideal with Angus beef, grilled tuna steak, or roasted chicken.

Learn more about the producer:

The Amoreau family has been cultivating their vineyard since 1610, located on a rocky plateau similar to that of Saint-Émilion and Pomerol. The vines, about fifty years old, are grown using biodynamic methods, giving the estate a distinct uniqueness among Bordeaux wines.

Their wines are refined and delicate, made from grapes harvested at full maturity. While they are enjoyable to drink young due to the supple tannins, they also have the potential to age gracefully, reaching thirty years or more in exceptional vintages. For lovers of rounded, velvety, complex, and natural Bordeaux wines, Château le Puy will surely delight you for a long time.
