The Allure Chrono manual Full Black chronograph, in a limited edition of 100 pieces, embodies timeless elegance and watchmaking precision. Entirely black, this model plays on subtle contrasts between a matte and glossy case and a deep dial, highlighting every detail. Inspired by the automotive world, this watch reflects the power and refinement of black car bodies. Its hands and indexes in SLN old radium stand out with striking clarity, reminiscent of the instruments in sports car cockpits. Sleek and bold, the Allure Chrono manual Full Black transcends conventions, establishing itself as a symbol of mastery and sophistication.
Two Icons of Black, Two Visions of Excellence
The Allure Chronograph Manual Full Black, with its round case and design inspired by 1970s Formula 1, evokes the mechanical chronometers of legendary drivers. A symbol of freedom and pure passion. For this limited edition, it is accompanied by the Série-R Full Black, a watch with a distinctive square design. Together, these two models offer a novel choice: the authentic and sporty charm of the Allure or the contemporary audacity of the Série-R. Two interpretations of black, reflective of your personality.
MANUAL WINDING CHRONOGRAPH
Equipped with a manually wound Seagull ST1901 movement meticulously adjusted by our French watchmakers, this movement draws inspiration from the legendary Swiss Venus 175 movement (produced until the 1960s).
One of the distinctive elements is the emblematic column wheel, which manages the various functions of the chronograph, acting as the true gearbox of this caliber. This movement is characterized by its reliability, fine finishes, and a comfortable power reserve of 45 hours.
Specific "mono-eye" Dial
To allow instant readability of indications, especially when driving, the sub-dials are of different colors, harmonious with the dial colors while playing on contrast effects. Ideally placed at three o'clock, the chronograph minute counter is black with orange indications, while the small seconds counter at nine o'clock is black with white markings.
BACK TO THE ROOTS
This chronograph, designed for drivers and motorsport enthusiasts, is presented in a stainless steel case with a diameter of 39mm. A meaningful dimension, as it perfectly evokes the spirit of sports chronos adopted by drivers in the 60s and 70s. Everything is about details. Observing the dial, it becomes clear that each attribute was designed to illustrate the philosophy of this sporty piece, evoking the golden age of competition. An era of boldness and carefreeness, creativity, discoveries, and experimentation. Cars symbolized freedom. In the face of danger, drivers showed a great deal of courage. As Jackie Stewart, one of the greatest F1 drivers, aptly summarized, "It was a time when sex was safe and motor racing was dangerous."
The hands and applied indexes feature facetted finishes and SLN (Super-LumiNova) with a slightly aged tint, evoking the aesthetics of radium from the past to enhance its vintage look. The dial also features two scales: a pulsometer to measure the pilots' heartbeats, extending up to 150 beats per minute and reaching the red zone near 200 beats per minute, as well as a tachometer calibrated from 0 to 240 km/h.
Black, a bridge between automobiles and watchmaking
Black, a symbol of mystery and sophistication, has marked the automotive universe and also resonates in watchmaking. In these two domains, this color embodies both elegance and the pursuit of timelessness. Iconic cars like those with black bodies and sculptural lines evoke an aesthetic that echoes the sleek and precise design of exceptional timepieces. This parallel underscores a common language of refinement and performance, shared between automotive and watchmaking enthusiasts. In both cases, black remains a timeless signature, associated with luxury and precise mechanics, whether in the form of a powerful engine or a perfectly orchestrated watch mechanism.
