Distingué is a balanced coffee: caramelized with a slight acidity!
Regarding the association:
The ANEI association was founded in 1995 by Aurora Maria Izquierdo with the firm desire that local populations reclaim coffee growing. ANEI has been producing organic coffee for 25 years and has established various programs to introduce new growing practices. These programs are particularly aimed at women so that they gain autonomy. The association also plays a social role by giving farms access to micro-credits and educational assistance for the children of producers.
The Andes Mountains are formed at the foot of the Perija region, in the Valle del Cesar, in the north of Colombia. It is an isolated territory where coffee trees grow in shade at altitudes between 1200 and 1800 meters. Cultivated by coffee farmers who are determined to protect the biodiversity of the place.
