Le Distingué is a balanced coffee: caramelized with a slight acidity!
About the association:
The ANEI association was founded in 1995 by Aurora Maria Izquierdo with the firm wish for local populations to reclaim coffee cultivation. ANEI has been producing organic coffee for 25 years and has established various programs to introduce new farming practices. These programs are especially aimed at women to help them gain autonomy. The association also plays a social role by providing farms with access to microcredits and educational support for the producers' children.
The Andes Mountain range forms at the foot of the Perija terroir, in the Valle del Cesar, in northern Colombia. It is an isolated area where coffee plants grow under shade at altitudes between 1200 and 1800 meters. The coffee is cultivated by growers determined to protect the area's biodiversity.
