Néroli Amara, Eau de parfum 75ml
Van Cleef & Arpels
Nicknamed “the perfumer’s tree“, bitter orange issues several essential fragrance ingredients, including neroli. This is named after Anne-Marie Orsini, Duchess of Bracciano in the 17th century, known as Princess of Nerola, a town near Rome. Totally in love with the perfume of Amara orange blossom (bitter orange), she began using it to perfume her gloves and her bath.
"For this creation, I sought to intensify all of the iconic facets of neroli that make it great. That's why I combined the orange blossom absolute with a trio of citrus - Italian lemon, tangerine and bergamot. "
