The most comprehensive book dedicated to the French artist JR, in a new edition expanded with his latest projects.
"JR: Can Art Change the World?" gathers all the collaborative artistic projects realized by JR around the world. This exhaustive monograph is illustrated with more than 350 photographs of his projects, his gallery-exhibited works, and the behind-the-scenes aspects of his work. Created in close collaboration with the artist, this book includes his recent works. Each chapter presents a major work, from "Expo 2 Rue," which launched his career, to "The Chronicles of Miami," a vast mural composed of over 1,000 portraits, displayed in Miami between December 2023 and January 2024. Prefaced by George Lucas, the book also includes a comic by Joseph Remnant, an introduction by Nato Thompson, and a text by Italian filmmaker Alice Rohrwacher, which retrace the fascinating history of JR.
