Plus d’Infos

This splendid, carefully edited edition in Japanese binding and presented in a beautiful collector's box, brings together the prints from "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji," one of the most famous series by the probably best-known Japanese artist in the world, Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849).

The work is presented here in its most complete version, which also includes the ten prints later added by the artist due to its great success.

Fuji is magnificently depicted by the master through the use of Western perspective and his very personal design capable of combining the eternal dimension of the mountain with the earthly dimension represented by numerous human activities.

Each print is accompanied by a technical sheet that helps interpret the image, with references—as far as possible—to the real place to which a particular view refers.
