Plus d’Infos

This work lies at the crossroads of art books, automotive literature, and catalogues raisonnés. It offers nothing less than a breathtaking and ultra-comprehensive overview of the legendary journey of the Prancing Horse.

The Ferrari universe is encapsulated in a single volume, showcasing its most iconic models in their finest form: the Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari Testarossa, F40, Enzo, 458 Italia, and even the Ferrari P4/5, a unique masterpiece by designer Pininfarina.

These timeless treasures have left an indelible mark on generations. Throughout the pages, the essence of Scuderia Ferrari’s production is elevated through the lens of Christian Martin, who channels his past as a “glamour photographer.”

His vision, infused with luminous transparency, captures the curves and contours that evoke speed and sensuality—qualities Enzo Ferrari instilled in his creations from their inception. This is more than a book; it’s a visual and emotional journey.

**About the Authors**

*Christian Martin*

Christian Martin, born on December 17, 1954, graduated from the French Institute of Photography in 1972. Starting as an assistant at Studio Carnot, he later sold paintings in Place du Tertre and in the USA. In 1979, he became an assistant to Francis Giacobetti and began contributing to *Lui* magazine in 1980, overseeing its automotive section.

His work has appeared in magazines such as *Elle*, *Auto Journal*, *Newlook*, *VSD*, *L’Équipe Mag*, *Gala*, *Vélo Mag*, *Jeune & Jolie*, *Sport Auto*, *Auto Plus*, *Automobiles Classiques*, *Rétroviseur*, and *Auto-Rétro*. He has also collaborated with automakers like Peugeot-Citroën, Audi, Opel, and BMW. Christian Martin has authored over ten books dedicated to his passion for automobiles.

*Jean-Marc Thévenet*

Jean-Marc Thévenet, born on July 16, 1955, is a publisher, comic book writer, television producer, exhibition curator, and former director of the Angoulême Festival (1998–2006).

His automotive career began in August 1964, when he graced the cover of *L’Automobile* magazine (issue 220) alongside the first ATS car by engineer Carlo Chiti. In 1987, he published *1960, les années de chrome*, a tribute to the 1960s, an era when automobiles dominated cinema, fashion, advertising, and major public works during the optimistic post-war boom.

After exploring the world of comics, Thévenet returned to the automotive sphere with *L’Art Automobile* in 2019, a biographical work with historian Patrick Lesueur. The book highlights the career of Hervé Poulain, honorary president of Artcurial, pioneer of modern art cars, and organizer of iconic auctions. Since 2020, the book has inspired events as part of European Heritage Days at Château de Neuville in Gambais.
